Banner Registration Schedule Fall 2010
Fall 2010 Schedule for Banner Registration (to begin June 14, 2010)
Beginning with the Fall 2010 semester, Alamo Colleges will be using ACES (Alamo Colleges Education Services), our new portal system, for registration and all communication with students. Students will be using Self Service to register once they are admitted to the colleges and permitted to sign up for fall classes.
Fall registration begins June 14, 2010. Through a Time-Ticketing staggered start process, students will have a start date for registration based on their total number of hours earned. Once a group is allowed to begin registering, the process will remain open through the end of the registration process. Some groups of students may be registered by college advisors and will not be assigned a time ticket. Examples of these groups are Dual Credit Students, Gateway and Early College High School students, and Virtual College students.
The Time-Ticketing groups and start dates are shown below. Students can begin registering on date shown for their group (which is based on total hours completed - as reflected in the Banner system.
Groups Dates
Students with 46+ hours June 14, 2010
Students with 31 – 45 hours June 15, 2010
Students with 16 – 30 hours June 16, 2010
Students with 0 – 15 hours June 17, 2010
From June 18th going forward, all students will be able to register for Fall 2010 courses on any day or time.
General Student Banner Information
Students should make a habit of checking their Alamo Colleges e-mail each week for important messages from various Alamo Colleges offices (Financial Aid, Records, Registration, Billing, etc.). Your Alamo Colleges e-mail is the official method of communication for you to receive information about financial aid, admissions, registration, student billing and other official notifications.
Additional information regarding access to the ACES portal and for Fall registration will be available on the Alamo Colleges web sites.
