School Supply Drive

The following message is posted on behalf of Ginger Carnes, a PAC Staff Council member:

The PAC Staff Council has received a recent request for school supplies that are needed by students who cannot afford all the items in Southside ISD.

We will provide the items by the end of September.

As you are out shopping during the tax-free weekend and during September, if you can pick up a few of these and put them in boxes around campus, we will be sure they are given to the students in Southside.

This is a list of the top 10 needed items.

Spiral notebooks (70-page count, wide-ruled)
Packages of notebook paper (wide-ruled)
16-count or 24-count boxes of Crayola brand crayons
Set of washable Crayola brand markers (classic colors)
4-oz. bottles of Elmer’s glueGlue sticks (multi-pack)
Pocket folders with brads
Packages of #2 pencils (10, 12 or 20 per package)
12-inch ruler
Large backpack, plain (no characters), no wheels

Boxes will be located in/outside the following Staff Council members offices:
