PAC Accomplishments

Here are some wonderful things faculty and staff members are doing on campus that I wanted to share with you:

--JFK Business Pathways Visit Campus—Sixty students, faculty, staff and parents from John F. Kennedy High School’s Business Pathways Program visited PAC to view firsthand the “real world” connections between secondary schools, post-secondary education and career implementation, Aug. 6. Hosted by PAC’s Recruitment Office, the students received a welcome from PAC President Dr. Ana M. “Cha” Guzman and Richard Perez, President of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. The students also received information on Landscape & Horticulture; Business Management; Logistics; and Aviation.

--Tech Prep Automation Technology Program Planning—Frank Quijano, Chair of Automation Technology and Engineering, met with local stakeholders in an effort to plan, develop, and implement a successful Alamo Tech Prep Automation Technology Program. Participants included Bob Pearce and Karlita Baker-Hall from Alamo Tech Prep; Brad Hunt, WHY Group LLC; Mary Crowley, TMMTX; Richard Patrick, CPS; Judy Newman of Southwest High School; and Melinda Ingersoll of Seguin High Schools.
