BBQ Brisket Fundraiser Saturday

Familia & Friends: this Saturday, March 20, The Tejeda Family is sponsoring a BBQ Brisket plate fundraiser for my son, Juan Francisco Tonatiuh. He is a senior at UTSA where he is majoring in Business Management and Marketing, and the funds raised will be used to help him pay for an Honors College trip to study in Italy for three weeks this summer. Plates are $6.00 and we will be serving from 11am to 4pm at the Mission Trails Conjunto Express (9214 Espada Rd.). My primo hermano, Armando, and I will be performing some conjunto music on accordion and bajo sexto and hosting a conjunto jam with musician friends from approximately 1-5pm. This is a nice afternoon drive out by the aqueduct and Mission Espada. For those that don't know where this place is at, just take S. Flores or Roosevelt south past Military Dr., take a left on Ashley Rd. at the light, then a right by the aqueduct on Espada. Mission Trails will be a couple of blocks on your left.
