Mission Verde Project

Tuesday evening, the Alamo Colleges Board of Trustees authorized the Chancellor to negotiate a Memorandum of Agreement and no-cost lease for the Mission Verde Project with the City of San Antonio, San Antonio ISD, San Antonio Youth Centers, Texas Engineering Experiment Station, CPS Energy and San Antonio Water System.

The Alamo Colleges will provide customized job training programs for entry level employment in weatherization, energy conservation and alternative energies, such as solar and wind; provide dual credit courses for San Antonio Youth Centers students; and assign qualified instructors to teach dual credit and job training programs as appropriate.
