PAC's Saturday Scheduled Power Outage

Please be advised that a campus-wide power outage has been coordinated with PAC Facilities Department and has been scheduled for TOMORROW, Saturday, August 2, 2008. This power outage is necessary in order to connect the primary power service to the new transformers at both the Convocation Center and New Central Plant projects. The schedule for the power outage is as follows:

The power will be turned off for the WEST half of the campus during the hours of 8 AM and 10 AM - Saturday, August 2, 2008.
This includes the following buildings and activities: Natatorium, Veterinary Technology, Ozuna, A/T building, Day Care, as well as both Convocation Center and Science/Workforce projects.

The power will be turned off for the EAST half of the campus during the hours of 10 AM and 12 Noon - Saturday, August 2, 2008.
This includes the following buildings and activities: All buildings and projects east of the north-south running main divider road that is next to the Central Plant (i.e. Central Plant, Student Center, Administration Building, and the rest of Buildings A thru R.

NOTE: The exact timing for the EAST half outage may be adjusted based on speed of the WEST half connection.

The entire campus should have the power re-energized by 12 Noon Saturday August 2, 2008.
