PAC Bereavement Notice

Readers,

This is to inform you that Dr. Guzmán’s father, Gabriel, passed away today. Dr. Guzmán often spoke of her father, and of the courage and perseverance he instilled in her after the family left Cuba in the 1960’s. She recalls her father once saying, “Anita, you do not need to worry. Fidel Castro can take our jobs, our houses and our industry, but he can’t take away my education. We will survive in America.”

Please keep our President and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
