ACCD Student Leadership Institute attend National LULAC Conference

Students from the Alamo Community Colleges Student Leadership Institute (Tier II) are participating in the 79th Annual LULAC National Convention and Exposition, being held in the nation’s capitol, July 7-12.

The students, along with their advisors from Palo Alto and Northwest Vista College, are joining Hispanic business, political and community leaders from throughout the United States at the convention, entitled “America’s Latino Community Center Stage.”

According to the LULAC website, the national convention draws more than 15,000 participants each year to discuss and debate issues, set policies, and elect the organization’s national leaders.
