Congratulations, Dean Johnson!

Stacey Johnson, Dean of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences at Palo Alto College, received the very first "Chancellor's Administrative Leadership Award" for Outstanding Leadership during the ACCD Board meeting, May 15. Dean Johnson is also being nominated for the "Carl M. 'Cheesie' Nelson Administrative Leadership Award."

Johnson has worked within the ACCD for 20 years and has been with Palo Alto College since 1987. The Chancellor commented during last night's Board Meeting that Johnson has used her status as an Olympic Fencer to bring education and programming to the youth of San Antonio through her work with the San Antonio Sports Foundation.
