VIRGINIA TECH “CELEBRATION OF LIFE” MEMORIAL SERVICE

Cindy Waterhouse, a student at Palo Alto College, is organizing a “Celebration of Life” memorial service for the victims of the Virginia Tech tragedy to be held on campus in the “Free Speech” area on Monday, April 23 at 11 a.m. She is inviting a deacon to officiate a “Moment of Silence”, a college philosophy professor to share some thoughts on the tragedy, and a fellow student who will sing a couple of songs. The memorial will end with the release of 32 orange and maroon balloons; each balloon will have the name of a fallen Virginia Tech student.
