2007 PAC NISOD Awardees

During Monday's Convocation Luncheon, Dr. Ana M. "Cha" Guzman, the President of Palo Alto College, and Javier Aguirre, President of PAC's Faculty Senate, announced the 2007 PAC National Institute of Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Award Winners. They were:

Teaching Excellence for Innovation & Creativity:

Helen "Honey" Kirk, Math

Teaching Excellence for Dedication & persistence:
Elizabeth Anne Tanner, Math
Theresa Garfield, Education

Teacing Excellence by a Librarian or Counselor:
Gloria Hilario, Librarian

Teaching Excellence for Adjunct Faculty--Daytime:
Britt Benshetler, English

Teaching Excellence for Adjunct Faculty--Evenings and Weekends:
Christine Moczygamba, Behavioral Sciences & Humanities

Also announced was this year's recepient of the Starfish Award:
Oliver B. Jones, Government
